Matt Alexander's father, Mike Alexander taught him to fly at an early age.  Mike, a Flight Instructor and jet aircraft mechanic Inspired Matt at an early age to set goals and to work hard to achieve them.  Mike encouraged Matt to step passed his perceived limitations and learn and master new things.  Like all good mentors he always wanted his mentees to be better than him, even though that level of expertise may or may not ever be achieved.

Since Mike has taught Matt everything he knew about aviation, Matt has worked for several airlines and charter companies, trying to mentor fellow aviators along the way. There are several great organizations available that help foster youth in aviation as well, please take time to visit their websites and learn how you can help someone achieve their goals in aviation.
